O
propósito desde trabalho é antagonizar duas distintas contradições:
o BELO e o FEIO.

The purpose since work is to antagonize two distinct contradictions: BEAUTIFUL and UGLY. An
essay on what represents the contemporary ugliness adorned by the
conception of the beautiful, in an Amazonian city, region recognized for
its natural beauty contrasted with urban degradation whose symptoms are
evidenced from the concept of ugly. The
work was supported by the two conceptions of aesthetics, the beautiful
and the ugly, from the works of Umberto Eco: using as main resource
photography, with interventions for the composition of pictorial images,
which articulate the traditional / canonical / With the predatory photographs of the cities of the Amazon region, Brazil. The
intention of the images is to show an urban Amazon, that forgotten by
the managements of public administrations, the one that is never
postcard, that is not print covers of magazines, but an Amazon
antagonistic, that has urban problems as: dumps and sewage to sky Open, vicious dumps, the pollution of rivers, the death of natural life that vanishes like slurry.
